Vasant Panchami is the festival dedicated to goddess Saraswati who is their goddess of knowledge, language, music and all arts. … The season and festival also celebrates the agricultural fields’ ripening with yellow flowers of mustard crop, which Hindus associate with Saraswati’s favorite color.

The students of Tawi Technical Campus ECE, Electrical and Civil department celebrated Vasant Panchami, the auspicious festival of the Hindus which marks the end of the winter season in North India.

In the celebration Professor B.R.Moza- special secretary to the chairman, Col. Hari Singh-Administrative Officer, Dr. Dinesh Badan-Director of TEC were present who commenced the celebrations with the Saraswati Vandana, invoking the blessings of Goddess Saraswati for seeking knowledge and a prosperous life. This was followed by the cultural event like dancing and singing. Last but not the least, the students enjoyed the kite flying activity. This event was organized by head of the departments Mrs. Ankur Narula, Mr. Anuj Tidyal, Mr. Ashanand Bhagat and other faculty members were also present on this occasion.
