National Conference on Recent Trends on Science,
Technology and Management (RTSTM-18) was
organized by Tawi engineering College on 24-3-18. Prof.
Lalit Kumar Awasthi, director of NIT Jalandhar was the
Chief Guest. Dr. Satinder Kumar Sharma from IIT Mandi,
Dr. Brijesh Kumbhani from IIT Ropar, Dr. Ashok Kumar
from NIT Kurukshetra, Dr. Subha Pratihar from Texas
Tech University, Lubbock-Texas acted as keynote
speakers. More than 200 papers were received by the
organizing committee and out of them 150 papers were
shortlisted. Dr Shashi B. Rana GNDU Amritsar, Dr.
Harish Pangotra- BCET Gurdaspur, Dr. Ashwani Rana-
NIT Hamirpur and Dr. Saleem Khan-IIT Delhi chaired
various sessions. In addition to students and faculty from
Govt. engineering colleges and private engineering
colleges, students and faculty from various universities
attended the conference.

Er. Renu Bangroo, Managing Director-Tawi Engineering
College welcomed the guests and she highlighted the
significance of organizing such a conference. Dr. Deepak
Sharma, Principal Tawi College presented vote of
Thanks. The conference was organized by Dr. Rajat
Arora, Dean Research and innovation and Prof. Pooja
Kapoor, Dean Polytechnic rendered valuable assistance
for making the conference a great success. Er. Vidhi S.
Singh Jamwal, Chairman Tawi Engineering Collge was
the Chief Patron of this conference.
